Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I am only find the gpt-5 model in my ide (in pro trial). Also in my Cursor the ai response is not coming. But in the website it is showing me that I am in pro trial still now.

Steps to Reproduce

I uninstalled the cursor and then installed it again. But the problem is not solved. But if I uninstall the cursor and then after one or two month reinstalled the cursor it works fine. But then the problem again appear.

Expected Behavior

The ai should responce, and I should see the models from anthropic and others.

Hey, thanks for the report. It looks like a settings issue. Please try these steps:

Enable models:

  • Cursor Settings Ctrl+Shift+J → Models tab → make sure Anthropic Claude and other models are enabled/checked

Run network diagnostics:

  • Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics (attach a screenshot if it fails)

If it still doesn’t work:

  • Sign out and sign back in (Cursor Settings → Sign out → Sign back in)

The fact that reinstalling temporarily “fixes” it suggests model preferences aren’t being saved. After enabling the needed models in Settings, they should persist.

Let me know if you still only see GPT‑5 after checking Models.
