Describe the Bug

In the Agents view, if I open a new thread on Project B whilst Project A is running an existing task, often the selected project / branch I’m typing a prompt for will change to the project running the other, causing me to prompt the wrong project.

Steps to Reproduce

2+ Projects in Agents View
Select Project 1, submit prompt that takes some time,
Whilst prompt running, select project B to start a new prompt…
The select project / branch will change to the current active prompt.

Expected Behavior

It shouldn’t change at all

This isn’t intended behavior, and it’s not anything in your setup. It’s an issue we’re tracking.

Until it’s sorted, two things that help: set the project from the left sidebar’s repositories list (those picks tend to hold, unlike the selector above the prompt box), and give the selected project/branch a quick glance right before you send - especially just after clicking into a running agent’s thread.

I’ll follow up here when there’s an update.
