Describe the Bug

The AI chat becomes unresponsive and messed up after a reload.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Cursor
  2. Open new AI chat
  3. Type “Give me Lorem Ipsum text”
  4. Wait for the agent to return.
  5. Restart Cursor.
  6. Type into chat and test the responsiveness.

Expected Behavior

The chat is unresponsive and/or does not behave like a proper text editor.
