gemini 2.5 keeps stating the editing tool has failed, when i can see it’s been applied.

  • this has been a constant ongoing scenario that every edits it makes gemini is registering it as failed (but they have been applied).

I notice the same with gemini 2.5 pro as well. It’s been failing a lot with edit_tool. I change to claude 4 and it successfully did the same edits/

they need to fix it, its causing a lot of confusion
