AI stop by itself

Hello, I am working today with latest Cursor version and Gemini 2.5 Pro..

When demanding a task to be done the AI start and talk … than abruptly stops itself … I tell him to please continuie where you stopped … he starts again than stop again , same again and again … My Chat is a new chat … I think the issue seems to be when the AI try to read a file that has lots of lines … (e.g my file got around 1.5K lines of code …).. I tried a lots of thing to troubleshoot but nothing is working …

If anyone got ideas … ill take em :slight_smile:

I get this behaviour too consistently. Beyond painful.

Okay , I tried using Cursor Nightly and the issue is resolved in this version… Now the AI says the file is too big and try another tool call and it works fine that way for now :wink: Thanks to the cursor team <3 :smiley:
