All Grok Bots silent on iOS — Agent Computer visible but no replies

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

All Grok Bots silent on iOS — Agent Computer visible but no replies
Product: Grok Bot
Plan: SuperGrok Plus
Device: iOS

All bots on this account stopped responding around 1:25 PM PDT on Saturday, Sept 12, 2026.

Bots: ATLAS, VIXEN, DAEDALUS
Every message fails / never gets a reply, including “hello”, “?”, “Stop now”, and “Update”.
New messages stay as sent bubbles with no bot response.

The Agent Computer still opens. VIXEN’s computer view still showed Instagram logged in (vixenofficial2026) with other tabs open (Proton, Pinterest). So the VM is visible, but the reply pipeline is dead.

Already tried with no fix:

  • Force-close and reopen Grok Bot
  • “Stop now” / simple health-check messages
  • Recover / Update Agent Computer
  • Waiting

Please recover or rebuild the Agent Computer on the backend.
Do not wipe files, logins, or bot profiles if possible.

I need the bots responding again. This is blocking paid SuperGrok Plus use.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Grok Bot on iOS (SuperGrok Plus).
  2. Open any bot: ATLAS, VIXEN, or DAEDALUS.
  3. Send “hello”, “?”, “Stop now”, or “Update”.
  4. No bot reply. Messages stay as sent bubbles.
  5. Open the Agent Computer (monitor icon). Desktop still loads (Instagram was visible / logged in).
  6. Force-close app, reopen, retry. Same failure on all bots.
  7. Recover / Update Agent Computer did not restore replies.

Expected Behavior

Bots reply in chat. If the computer is reachable, a simple message should get a response. All bots on the account should not go silent at once.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Version Information

Grok Bot iOS — version unknown (app Settings / About Grok Bot if listed)
OS: iOS

For AI issues: which model did you use?

Grok Bot default (not Sonnet). All bots on the shared Agent Computer.

Additional Information

Please recover the Agent Computer on the backend. Computer view still opens; chat replies do not. Do not wipe files/logins if possible.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the detailed report. Good news: Agent Computer, the bots, files, and logins are all fine. Nothing needs to be rebuilt or recovered. That’s why VIXEN shows Instagram already open. The VM is alive. Only launching bot replies is failing.

What actually happened: the account hit the weekly Grok Bot usage limit around the same time the bots went silent. After the limit is reached, new messages are still accepted, but the bots don’t run. So messages like “hello”, “?”, and “Stop now” just sit there as sent bubbles with no reply. The app should’ve shown a clear “usage limit reached” notice, but it didn’t. I’ve shared this with the team.

To get the bots working again, there are two options:

  1. Wait for the weekly reset. You can see the exact reset time in the Grok Bot app under Settings > Usage, or at cursor.com/dashboard when you sign in with the same Grok account.

  2. Enable On-Demand usage so the bots can run beyond the included amount. Go to cursor.com/dashboard/spending with the same Grok account, turn on On-Demand usage, and set a monthly spend limit you’re comfortable with. The bots should resume within a couple of minutes.

Please don’t buy Cursor Pro for this. On the SuperGrok plan, it doesn’t add Grok Bot usage.

Two notes: messages sent during the block stay queued. The bots will reply to them in a batch as soon as usage is available again. Scheduled routines that were due during the block were skipped. No need to press Recover, Reset, or Update. The computer is fine.

Let me know if the bots still don’t come back after the reset or after enabling On-Demand.
