Allow for an after-prompt for e.g. keeping comments

Hey cursor team, great work! I love the constant evolving of the product.

But Cursor removes old valuable comments, which is a constant PITA. I use talking names etc - whenever there is a comment, it’s IMPORTANT and should be kept.

I tried to put that in the .cursorrules or user prompt - does not work. It seems to always work as a finishing sentence in every prompt in chat, e.g. “Keep all the comments!!”

Could we have an after-prompt for that (and maybe other use cases)?

Or make an option to keep comments, lots of people obv want this:

Please preserve comments when applying changes

Most of the times while applying changes Cursor removes existing comments from the code It would be nice if it didn’t do that I understand that it’s not an easy thing to deal with but preserving comments would make applying changes using the different modes quicker and more convenient.
