HI!
I got Bad request messages whatever I ask since last Friday. Cursor updated to 2.3.34.
Request ID: 55715d94-2cc3-4b36-9fcd-b96deb5a6c93
{“error”:“ERROR_BAD_REQUEST”,“details”:{“title”:“Bad request.”,“detail”:“Bad Request”,“isRetryable”:false,“additionalInfo”:{},“buttons”:[],“planChoices”:[]},“isExpected”:true}
ConnectError: [invalid_argument] Error
How can I resolve this issue?
Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the report. ERROR_BAD_REQUEST is usually related to MCP settings or the Override OpenAI Base URL. Please try this:
- Settings > Tools & MCP: disable all MCP servers (if any), then restart Cursor
- Settings > Models > API Keys: turn off Override OpenAI Base URL, and temporarily disable any custom API keys if they’re enabled
- Start a new chat and try again. This helped some users

Keep getting bad request and here:
Error en chat o agente 597e2946-a592-48e2-9e78-2a9f2adbfd3a
If that doesn’t help, please share:
- Screenshots of Settings > Tools & MCP and Settings > Models > API Keys
- A new Request ID after doing the steps above
- Errors from Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console
- The output of Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics
Let me know which step helped.
