An error occurs when using Grok in Cursor

Since yesterday, I’m unable to use the Grok model in Cursor. I keep getting the message:

“If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN, or email us at [email protected]. (Request ID: 372e2deb-7c85-4ed8-a783-a3530386236c)”

I believe I updated Cursor yesterday, but I’m not entirely sure. The issue has persisted since then, and I haven’t been able to connect to the Grok model at all. This problem does not occur when using other models.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or found a solution?

following. i have never been able to use Grok. I find it useful in many situations. currently have it installed as a web app and context switch, but if its available in cursor, i do not understand why it would not work.

I use it 95% of the time in cursor for a few weeks now. However, yesterday mid stream of generating a response, it stop and hasn’t worked since.

This started for me about three days ago and happens consistently. I count on Grok to solve the hardest doom loop problems. When is this going to be resolved?

I would love the ability to use my xai api key in the application as well for situations such as this.

This also has been happening to me. I can use grok-2 if I start a new chat, but not grok-3-beta, even in a new chat.

+1 to this just to amplify the annoyance here. It’s been going on since shortly after the 0.50 release for me.
