the thing moves to the left when the other box (with the number of other edited files) appears to the right of it, and the mouse pointer is suddenly on top of the “Reject file“, and I have come to click “reject file” too times now, hence this post.
Of course I can do a CTRL+Z to get the changes back, but it drives me a bit frustrated.
I appreciate your efforts, and maybe this is a minor, low priority thing, but making it work better for the user is not a bad idea.
Please move this reject button somewhere else.
When “review next file” appears I tend to click on “Reject file” while I am clicking on the up and down arrows.
Having ‘accept’ and ‘reject’ so close to each other is just poor UI design, IMO. I lost all my work yesterday due to that stupid alignment; suffice to say, I was pretty annoyed. Yes, I had not done a Git commit yet because the issues were still breaking.
Just to point out, if you reject the changes from the agent, you can usually go to each diff / code edit in the chat and click the Reapply option in the context menu.
This should give you the same result, and won’t use up any requests, as the Apply model is free.
