We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider. This might be temporary - please try again in a moment.

This happens on all models.

Submit a report with all the information that has happened so the devs have a better idea of what is going on.

Hey, does creating a new chat resolve the issue?

New chat solves that but after a few requests it happens again

Worst support ever, I have emailed and promised a support agent will contact me,

I would like to answer your questions directly but for that I need a detailed bug report. Note that this is not a common issue which means more information is required to find the cause and solve it.

Please provide following information

  • Cursor Version and OS version
  • Which model are you using?
  • Check Settings > Network > Run Diagnostic and report any errors from log here.
  • If you have a request that had the error add here the Request ID.

With this information we can then look more detailed into the issue.

This happens after the chat gets bigger at stop point it gives me those messages.
If I create a new chat it is getting fixed but I lose all my previous chat.

Could you check if any of these solves the issue:

  • Disabling MCPs?
  • Disabling custom API keys?
