AUTO disappeared after last update I also try to reinstall from 2 sources and no way to get it back.

Steps to Reproduce

Open cursor and go to the agent tab and Auto mode is disapeared.
Same version work with auto on my laptop.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is expected behavior when a custom API key is enabled in Settings.

To restore Auto mode:

  • Open Cursor → Settings → Models → API Keys
  • Disable any custom API key

Auto mode works only with Cursor’s built‑in model providers and doesn’t appear when custom API keys are active.

Hello mate.
i not have any API key configured i also a saw another glitch in the UI i will post in the morning.
is very strage I had it. I choose Claude then it disappear and i not have it anymore.
