Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

same symptom as this guy
and i’ve never used or put any API keys on Cursor or any vscode IDEs in my life.

seeing auto mode.

Does this stop you from using Cursor
No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report.
Important: normally Auto is hidden if any custom API key is enabled. But you’re saying you don’t use them. Let’s try to narrow down the cause.
Could you please share:
- Errors in Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console
- Does it reproduce in a new window or different project?
- Try signing out and signing back in
- Are you using Team/corporate configuration that might enable keys automatically?
