I also use a cursor on my different device as well as a different account and I face the same issue that the Usage limit is full just after one prompt..! on free plane
Hey, thanks for the update. I can see the screenshot showing “You’ve hit your usage limit” on Cursor Grok 4.6 Medium and Included Usage 51% (reset Oct 4).
Even if it looks like “just one request”, on Free your included usage is a single shared pool across all available models. One heavy session with Grok 4.6 can use it up in one go, especially if the context is large and it’s using a lot of tokens. So the block here is expected.
What’s actually confusing is the percentage on the Plan & Usage page. Right now that counter underestimates real usage on the Free plan, so it can show around 50 to 60% even when your included usage is already fully used. This is a known display issue and we’re tracking it. The limit itself is working correctly.
Included usage on this account will reset on Oct 4, after that requests will work again. If you need to continue sooner, Pro removes the limit right away. That doesn’t fix the counter mismatch, we’re handling that separately.
