Is Cursor NOT UNLIMITED anymore? It was one of the top reasons why I still subscribe to it.
Never was unlimited but you have to try really hard to use it all up. Look below your prompt where it says 100% cursor models. Next month watch what makes it grow. Use multitask mode and it will grow very slowly.

Auto on Pro isn’t unlimited. Requests made through Auto count toward your included monthly usage the same way they would if you picked a model directly. The Total usage limit reached popup means you’ve used up the included amount for this billing cycle, and the popup shows both pools at 100%.
Good news: included usage resets at the start of the next billing cycle, so Auto will work again after the cycle refreshes with no action needed from you.
If you keep hitting the limit, you have two options:
- Turn on on-demand usage and set your spend limit using Set new limit in that popup or at cursor.com/dashboard > Settings.
- Upgrade to Pro+.
You can always see exact usage for the current cycle in Dashboard > Usage. You can also check what’s using the most, for example Fast model variants cost noticeably more per token. More details on how limits work: Models & Pricing | Cursor Docs
