Shows usage limit for `Auto` model

I have cursor Pro. As the model selected, I’ve been using Auto, but when I try to ask something it shows ‘You’ve hit your usage limit’. Even though I’m on Auto, why I’m seeing this? I can’t proceed with coding.

Auto mode isn’t unlimited. It’s billed the same as other models, at the API rates. The Pro plan includes $20 of API usage plus extra bonus quota. Once both limits are used up, everything pauses until next month, or until you enable on-demand billing.

Check your dashboard at cursor.com/dashboard?tab=usage. You’ll see the exact details there, including how much of the $20 you’ve used, how much bonus quota is left, and a breakdown by model.

Ways to keep going:

  • Enable on-demand usage in Billing settings. You’ll pay for usage over the limit at the same API rates.
  • Upgrade to Pro Plus ($60/month, includes $70 API usage + bonus) or Ultra ($200/month, includes $400 API usage + bonus).

Can you share a screenshot of your usage dashboard? That’ll help figure out what used up the quota.
