Auto Mode was supposed to be unlimited — why am I suddenly out of usage?

I was using Cursor in Auto mode, which I understood to be unlimited.
Now it says my usage is over — which makes no sense to me.

If Auto mode isn’t actually unlimited, then what’s the point of using Cursor at all?

Why would I choose Auto mode if it has hidden or unclear limits?

Okay, I understand, but the biggest selling point of CURSOR was the unlimited auto mode. Now that it’s paid as well, why should I use it? There are other free IDEs available. Can you give me one solid, logical reason to use it???
