Automations Trigger Menu Bug

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Somewhere else…

Describe the Bug

Can’t mouse over the 2nd-level menus for a Trigger on the Automations page.

Workaround: I had to revert to keyboard navigation.

Steps to Reproduce

Click Add Trigger
Mouse Over GitHub
Mouse Over Pull Request…

When I mouse over Pull Request... the sub-menus shows and then the menu collapses back to the top-level. I can’t select GitHub → New push to branch, because I can’t move the mouse below Pull Request… fast enough to prevent it from closing.

Expected Behavior

I should be able to use the menu!

Operating System

Linux

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @david.newmon
What you’re describing isn’t intended behavior. The nested submenus in the Add Trigger menu shouldn’t collapse as your pointer moves into them, and it’s not anything on your end. This is an issue we’re tracking.

Besides the keyboard navigation you found, a quicker workaround: type the trigger name into the search box at the top of the Add Trigger menu (e.g. “push” or “pull request”) and click the flat result directly. That path isn’t affected.

I’ll post here when there’s an update.

Hey @david.newmon,

Thanks for the report. The Add Trigger menu issue you described has been fixed and the fix is now live on cursor.com. Nested entries like GitHub → Pull Request should stay open while you mouse into them.

Could you give it another try? If anything still misbehaves, let me know here.

All good- thanks for the help!
