Background Agents will not stay turned off

Describe the Bug

Every time I launch Cursed the “Background Agents [BETA]” setting turns itself back on. This is on linux with the appimage. This Cursed program has a demon in it or something! LOL

Steps to Reproduce

Running linux using AppImage, turn Background Agents off. Close Cursed ID. Reopen Cursed and give it a moment and Background Agents spontaneously turns itself back on before your eyes like its possessed.

Expected Behavior

If I turn the Background Agents off they should STAY OFF

Additional Information

Something has CPU pegged at 300% plus and using almost 10GB of memory just idle. I think its background agents doing something or trying to. But they won’t turn off and stay off. CTRL+Click doesn’t work because everything is churning someplace.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Hey! Apologies for this. We are looking into this.

Note that the setting is being removed. It does not control an actual link to Background Agents - that is determined by privacy mode + GitHub connection. It just controls what displays in settings.
