Bedrock models are not showing in the model picker. The only model I have selected in Settings → Models is us.anthropic.claude-fable-5, but the only model that shows in the model picker is Fable 5 300K.
Steps to Reproduce
Connect AWS Bedrock, add us.anthropic.claude-fable-5 as a custom model, open model picker.
Expected Behavior
us.anthropic.claude-fable-5 should show in the model picker in the chat input section.
Hey, thanks for the detailed report. Good news, your model is still there and you can use it right now.
Your model is still available, it just has a different name now. The “Fable 5 300K” entry in the model picker is the same us.anthropic.claude-fable-5 model you added via Bedrock. The displayed name is now server-driven, so it can differ from the slug. Requests still go through your AWS keys, so you don’t need to change anything in settings. Just pick “Fable 5 300K” and keep working like usual.
The picker showing the display name instead of the slug is a known behavior. It’s on our radar, but there’s no ETA for bringing back the original name yet. This doesn’t affect the model working. Let me know if you can’t select “Fable 5 300K” or if requests aren’t going through.
