I just learned I can use the Claude Code VS Code extension and it works BEAUTIFULLY well as a complement to my Cursor IDE. The extension was quite easy to get up and running, and it feels like a natural part of the Cursor IDE. It’s lowkey been a life saver for when the Cursor agent terminal acts wonky in these latest versions of the app!
I have a subscription plan to both Claude and Cursor (for Claude, I use its Pro equivalent subscription. While it seems like I hit rate limits quick, I so far REALLY dig using its online webapp capabilities to read my github repos and perform work and analysis from there.) I effectively work off github repos through Claude, while I work locally on my uncommitted code through Cursor.
I’m thinking this is a bit redundant since I’m using Cursor’s Pro subscription, but something about the way the Claude Code extension works tickles my brain 
I’m now wondering if there’s other useful extensions out there specifically to enhance Cursor as an IDE and if the community has suggestions.
Also, I STILL for the life of me can’t figure out MCP tools. Maybe one day I’ll figure it out!
