Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
I am trying to utilise the browser functionality within Cursor. Any prompt which would usually trigger it to open the browser, and navigate to a page is just not working.
Steps to Reproduce
Prompt: “I have github actions open in the browser within Cursor right now, you should have access to it. Check the workflows to see what the issues are.”
I can have ‘browser tab’ or ‘Chrome’ selected from the browser settings and neither work. It used to work fine, it’s only just started doing this.
Expected Behavior
It is supposed to control the browser but it just doesn’t even acknowledge that the browser is a possibility.
It responds: “I’ll inspect the repo’s GitHub Actions via the GitHub CLI, identify failing workflows and their errors, then summarize what’s broken and likely causes. Then we can decide what to fix first and make code/workflow changes as needed.”
Ordinarily it would just go to the browser and carry out the actions it needs to but it’s just not doing that.
