Agent is stuck on “Install Browser” when I request the following in the Agent window in Agent mode: “navigate to https://… using @Browser”

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. We’ve recently seen a few similar issues with the Browser installation.

Please share:

1. Do you have Google Chrome installed? If yes, which version? (Cursor needs the stable release, not Beta or Canary)
2. A screenshot of Settings → Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP showing the Browser status
3. In Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console, do you see any errors?

Also, are you working in a remote environment (WSL, SSH, or a Dev Container)?

This will help us see if it’s a Chrome detection issue or something else. Let me know what you find!
