Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Thanks for reporting this issue! It looks like Cursor’s browser automation feature may not be detecting your Chrome Beta installation.

A few things to help troubleshoot:

  1. Chrome version: You mentioned having Chrome Beta v142 (arm64). Could you try installing the standard stable version of Chrome from google.com/chrome and see if that resolves the issue?

  2. Installation location: If you do have stable Chrome installed as well, where is it located? (e.g., /Applications/Google Chrome.app on macOS)

  3. Restart: Have you tried fully restarting Cursor after installing/verifying Chrome?

If you’ve already tried stable Chrome or if the issue persists after installing it, please let me know.

I’m also running Arch Linux and using the cursor with appimage. Zen Browser (Firefox-based), Chrome Browser, and Vivaldi (Chromium-based) are installed via flatpak, but the cursor doesn’t see these browsers. When I try to add the browser, I get the “install chrome browser” popup.

I have the same problem

It worked in previous Cursor versions (before v2)

This happens only when mentioning @Browser in the agent mode chat.
If I press browser icon and ask agent to navigate some page - it uses the built-in browser just fine. I think @Browser shortcut should be redirected to the built-in browser instead?
