Bug Report – Model Selection Not Saving in Cursor (Mac)

Hi Cursor Team,

I’m facing an issue with the latest version of Cursor on Mac. I enable models like DeepSeek R1 and others, but when I go back to the composer editor and request a response using DeepSeek, it works initially. However, the model then disappears from the list.

When I check Settings > Models, I find that the model is unchecked again, as if the selection wasn’t saved.

Could you double-check this issue, please?

Thanks!

Hey, I just tried to replicate this, and I’m not experiencing that behavior. Could you please check it again by creating a new Composer? Also, let me know which version of Cursor you’re using. Additionally, try restarting Cursor after enabling the DeepSeek models.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Thanks for the info!

Can you try bringing the Composer back into the pane on the right, and check if that fixes the reactivity? May be a bit of a long shot.
