After the latest update:

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue after the latest update, and the team is aware. It looks very similar to Cursor is not usable after the last update
A few things to try:
Quick fix (if you need to work right now):
- Roll back to the previous version: Download · Cursor
Workarounds that helped other users:
- Clean reinstall
- Start with
cursor --disable-extensions. If that helps, it’s likely an extension issue - If you use MCP tools, try disabling them temporarily
Info needed for debugging:
- What Cursor version are you on?
- If you run without extensions, does the issue still happen?
Let me know what worked, or if nothing helps.
