Hi everyone,
My name is Nathaniel DeGrave. For the past year, I’ve been on a mission to build something I once believed was impossible for a non-engineer: a personal super-intelligence that understands your entire life.
I call it Achieve AI.
It’s still early days, but thanks to Cursor, I’ve managed to build the core of this vision: the world’s smartest, and only, GPT-5 powered calendar and executive assistant. I wanted to share my story here because quite literally, none of this would exist without Cursor.
Here is how I went from no coding background to building a complex LifeOS using AI.
1. The Vision: “Cursor for Your Life”
We all love Cursor because it understands our entire codebase. My thesis was: What if an AI understood your entire life?
The long-term goal for Achieve AI is to reason across:
-
Finances & Health
-
Goals, Tasks, & Habits
-
Skills, Constraints, & Opportunities
-
Personal data & behavioral patterns
Eventually, it won’t just hold your data; it will answer high-level questions like:
“How can I double my income based on my current skills?”
“How should I plan the next 90 days for maximum progress?”
- The “All-In” Journey (No Backup Plan)
I started this project with:
-
No formal coding background
-
No engineering experience
-
No safety net
I decided to go all in. This is my only obsession.
My Daily Reality with Cursor:
-
I spend 16+ hours per day in the IDE.
-
I often pull 18–20 hour sessions.
-
In some months, I have consumed over 1 billion tokens.
I couldn’t clone myself… so I did the next best thing. I actually bought a second laptop just so I could run more instances of Cursor simultaneously. It sounds funny, but it shows just how deep the obsession runs.
3. How Cursor Built This
For me, Cursor hasn’t just been an autocomplete tool. It has been my teacher, my architect, and my debugger.
What Cursor enabled me to do:
-
Build Architecture: I built systems I never could have designed alone.
-
Natural Language Dev: I developed the entire system using natural language prompts.
-
Speed: Debugging complex race conditions and logic errors at speeds I didn’t think were possible.
Achieve AI is quite literally an advanced AI built by AI, using AI.
4. The Current Build: The Core
Right now, the first major milestone is complete. It is a planning engine designed to:
-
Understand goals and constraints.
-
Generate dynamic schedules (breaking goals into subtasks).
-
Adapt plans automatically.
It features a Profile/Second Brain (a database the AI reads/updates to “learn” you), a Full LifeOS Dashboard (milestones, projects, teams), and an Affiliate System.
5. A Look Inside (Screenshots)
1. Main Calendar Interface
A modern, GPT-5 powered interface for dynamic planning.
2. Profile & Second Brain
The database where the AI builds its understanding of the user.
3. Task Generation
Breaking down high-level goals into actionable steps.
4. Chat & Collaboration
Team comms and instant summaries via @achieve.
5. Complete Affiliate Program & Sales Funnel
We offer 10% monthly for six months. More for select affiliates in the near future.
6. Community Recognition
My obsession with the tool didn’t go unnoticed. Because of my usage volume, I was identified as one of the top 1% of Cursor users and invited to the meetup in Las Vegas.
This meant the world to me—it validated that I wasn’t just coding in a void, but was part of a community building the future.
To the Cursor team and community: You’ve created a tool that took a dream I’ve carried for years and made it possible to manifest in code. You transformed my ambition into something real.

I’d love to hear your feedback, thoughts on the architecture, or just chat about pushing Cursor to its absolute limits!
