Can I use the same cursor account on multiple devices at once?

Ive been wanting to upgrade to a pro plus account for some time now. The whole point being, I want to be able to use the account on 2 separate devices at once. I use a windows as my daily driver for all work related stuff but i also have a secondary linux device that i use mostly for cybersec and pentesting, now most of my work related tasks, ive automated with simple reusable skills and automations, which has opened up a lot of time for me to use that time working on my secondary device, while cursor does most of my work tasks. Would this flag my account? or is it alright to do so?

Hey, thanks for asking in advance.

Yep, that’s totally fine. Your account is tied to you лично, and you can use it on both your Windows and Linux machines at the same time. You don’t need to log out of one to use the other, working in parallel on both devices won’t get your account flagged.

The protection we have is aimed at a different pattern, when one account signs in from a lot of different computers in a short time window, which is typical when a login is shared with other user. Two or three of your own devices isn’t close to that, and inactive devices stop being counted after about a day. The only thing that’s actually not allowed under the Terms of Service is sharing your login with someone else.

Cloud-side work, like Cloud Agents and automations, doesn’t count as a device, so it’s fine to keep them running your tasks while you work on a second machine.

So yeah, feel free to upgrade to Pro+.
