Version Information

3.7.24 xxxxx

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hi @Eugen_Konkov Thanks for the post! Yes, the deep link forces the stable version of Cursor. However, you can still install Codex in the nightly version by going to the marketplace tab with Cmd+Shift+X, searching for Codex, and installing it there. No deep link needed! I just tried this, and it worked great. Let me know if it doesn’t work for you.

But I finally found it here:

Thank you for the tip with the hotkey. Before that I did not know that it exists.

Sure thing. Yes, you need to be in the IDE view before pulling that up (uses the VScode style marketplace)

Could it be possible to have one place to install extensions/plugins? This is not so convenient to check all these places =(

Thank you.

@Eugen_Konkov Codex isn’t really a ‘plugin’ in our marketplace sense , it’s a VS Code extension, so the Extensions panel is the primary install path, not the agent marketplace.

Please help. I installed it And I do not see that anything visually changed. How to use it?

@Eugen_Konkov of after you just have to relaunch the same extension panel you opened to download it, it should be shown into your installed extension, your just have to click on it and it will open like a sidebar

I do not see any changes or panels except these:

@Eugen_Konkov click the little down arrow just at the right of extension, it should appear in here

May you please show where it is on my picture? I do not see that arrow =(

sorry, it’s on there :

Thank you for the help. I never find it without you.

@cursor It would be nice to show (x) badge which points that something new is there.

Sorry for the trouble, I’ll let you mark the subject as fixed, as for the recommendation of making it more visible, I’ll pass the word around!
