Can not log into cursor

These are steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. There is a signin entry in Cursor client settings.
  2. If I click this button, a chrome instance would be invoked and instruct me to login.
  3. Then the webpage says “You may now proceed back to Cursor” .
  4. But the Cursor client still remains the same, the signin button never disappears and I could not make AI running.

My os is macOS 14.6.1

I toggled Developer Tools within cursor and got some errors from debug console.

However if I navigate to api2.cursor.sh I got “Welcome to Cursor. From server 7hnrsglda3vhhez77pesy6 with time 0.011399999726563692. Pod name: local-machine. Pod IP: 127.0.0.1.”
