Cannot login/auth from cursor.com back to Cursor IDE

I just updated cursor 0.48.8 today and found that my session is invalid and have to login again.

But not as usual, as we authenticated the account in cursor.com and click “Yes, Login”, it does not forward any token back to IDE

Before update, cursor works normally.
Then I just updated Cursor this version on both Windows and Mac today.
Mac + Safari has no problem, however Windows 11 + MS Edge cannot go through this login process.

Is it a bug?

I installed another browser (Arc) and auth through that, it works now.

Not sure if this login via edge has problem with this version or recently for how long..

Hey, this usually happens with default browsers like Safari and Edge. Switching to browsers like Arc, Chrome, or Firefox should help in this case. Glad you resolved the issue.
