Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

Was using Cursor without issues, just as I have for the last couple years. Mid-use, I was logged out for whatever reason, which is very odd as I’ve never been logged out. Now I’m unable to login or click “sign-up”. Simply nothing happens. Logs are empty as well.

I can’t get the version because I can’t open the IDE. Stuck on login screen. Latest version though I’m pretty sure.

The solution for me:

Right-click the login button, which will give you an option to “copy sign-in link”. Paste the link into the browser and this will authenticate. Very strange that clicking “login” or “signup” doesn’t launch the default browser on its own (chrome).

The annoying thing is this completely reset my Cursor back to default settings. Get to spend all day tweaking it like I had for the last couple years. Pretty annoying.
