When I try to log into the cursor IDE, the button does nothing and I cannot log in.

cant click login on this it just does nothing

I finally understood what happened. When I clicked “Log in”, it opened a new tab on my default navigator i didn’t see. You have to log in in the navigator and confirm via a button the log in for the app. Then you are logged in the app.

1-Open Cursor settings (top right)
2-Click Sign In
3-Check your navigator (Chrome, Firefox,…) for a tab opened on Cursor website and Log in
4-Once logged, you can click on “Yes,log in” and return on Cursor app, you are logged in.

Hey, try setting Google Chrome as your default browser, restart Cursor, and try again.

I’ve fixed the issue already. The problem was that my default browser was set to Chromium (which I had already deleted). I changed it to Edge, and the issue went away. Thanks a lot for your help!
