Cannot configure icon visibility in tab bar

The tab bar cannot configure icon visibility (like i cannot hide the “split editor right”)

Steps to Reproduce

every time i open a new window, and can not fix whatever i do.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report. I need details to understand exactly where the setting is breaking.

Please share:

• A screenshot/short video of the icon(s) you want to hide (clarify: are these icons in the editor header or on the tabs themselves).
• The settings you’ve tried to manage (screenshot from Settings and/or a snippet from settings.json - especially all workbench.*, related to tabs/title/actions).
• Check in VS Code: can you hide the same icon there with the same settings?

Once you send these details, we can reproduce it and move forward.

Here is the video and screenshot, the bug exist just after i updated to the newest version, it does work before that.

Thanks for the video and details. This looks like a regression after 2.1.47, and another user confirmed it on 2.1.50. I’ve already passed it to the team.
