Cannot persist sidebar position preference between sessions

Describe the Bug

reloading the window after choosing sidebar position preference does not persist it. It is lost between reloads or cursor closing and re-opening.

Steps to Reproduce

• Select position preference for sidebar
• Reload window
• Observe

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

I tried to reproduce this but I was unsuccessful. Where are you changing the sidebar position? Are you doing it from this menu?

Yes, Ill share step by step in the below pics. It is super annoying having to change the sidebar position every time I open cursor.

@Colin sorry the order of the pictures is wrong.

Correct order is:

1- “Cursor opened…”

2- “Changing to left using…”

3- “Now it looks good…”
