Cannot type in detached chat window in IDE

Describe the Bug

When opening a new chat in the IDE as editor and detaching it (dragging it outside the IDE window), the chat window becomes unresponsive to keyboard input. I am unable to type anything in the detached chat.

I noticed that typing something before detatching the editor resolves this issue.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. ctrl + shift + I
  2. open chat as editor
  3. drag the chat editor outside cursor , eg to another screen.

Expected Behavior

I can chat

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. Currently, Cursor does not fully support a new window for chat. However, after you open the chat in a new window, try reloading the window, and it should help.
