Our company uses Cursor under the Teams plan. After some usage, we hit our limit and the system switched to slow requests, which worked fine.
Then we asked our admin to increase the on-demand spend limit to $100, and after using Cursor for a while we hit that $100 limit.
Due to budget constraints, we cannot increase the on-demand limit further.
At this point, I expected the system to fall back to slow request mode again, but instead the green “Request limit increase” button appears and I cannot chat at all — slow mode does not activate.
My questions are:

Once slow request mode disappears, does it never return?

I thought limits reset monthly — when the billing period resets, will slow request mode be available again?
