Cursor SSH Remote Connection Issues with MacBook

  • Local Machine: Windows
  • Remote Machine: MacBook
  • IDE: Cursor (with VS Code installed on MacBook)
  • Connection Type: SSH Remote

Issues

1. Search Function Not Working

When trying to use the search function while connected remotely to my MacBook via SSH, I receive an error message.

2. File Search (CTRL + P) Loading Indefinitely

The Quick File Search (CTRL + P) feature gets stuck in an infinite loading state and never displays results.

Additional Information

  • VS Code is properly installed on the MacBook
  • SSH connection is established successfully
  • Other basic editing functions work as expected
