Bug Description:
Every time I (re)open Cursor, I can’t type in the AI pane editor.
Reproduction Steps:
Workaround:
The only way I’ve figured out how to get around this is to open the ai pane as an editor. At that point I can type in it, and I open it back as the pane and it’s fine.

MacOS Sequoia 15.2

0.45.11

May want to edit your screen recording to remove some private information.
Can you try starting a fresh Composer instance with the plus (+) in the top right and see if that helps the next time you close and reopen?
Just tried it, unfortunately creating a new composer/chat instance upon reopening cursor does not fix this issue. LMK if there’s anything else you want me to try, happy to help debug this!
Hey, while I don’t have a good fix or suggestion right now, we hopefully have a new release coming very soon with some changes to this code behind the scenes, so I’d suggest waiting for that!

i also have this issue, it happens randomly, and editor mode open and close fixes it
Coming back to this, I did indeed get the 0.46 update, and I still have the above issue. Again, not the most urgent thing, rather in the category of “polish.”
