Describe the Bug

cannot type in chat dialogue. but composer still works for me.

Steps to Reproduce

no matter how many times you reboot your cursor or pc, it still happens.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → Abount Cursor → Copy)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

I have this same bug - quickest way I’ve found to get around it is to click “Open Chat as Editor”

and then “Open Composer as Pane”

I appreciate you including those screenshots of what are presumably the icons for those 2 commands, but I cannot spot them anywhere. Could you offer either a screenshot that shows their location or give me a clue where to look? Maybe they are on some toolbar or panel I don’t have open?
