I updated cursor today (so now it has composer in tab) and it worked for a while but then I noticed I can no longer input in the chat. There is no response to the keys and the input box remains blank. I tried composer input and that is fine.

same here
just start the new instance
What do you mean start new instance? I quit cursor then reopened it and still can’t type in chat. Thanks
OK it’s solved now. I moved the chat into the editor tab (not the usual side pane) then I can type. Then I move the tab back as side pane and it still works.

So they fixed the bug by swapping the bug.
Used to be you couldnt type when it was out of the sidepane
The issue still exists, I couldn’t type inside the chat field. Restarting the cursor, and restarting my PC didn’t work.
Only when I clicked on “Open Chat as Editor” and then closed it and opened it again in the sidebar, it worked again.
