Same here, use windows, can not type in chat. Restart app, restart system will not work.
Hey, weird test, but can you try to pop out the Chat / Composer into an editor, then close it and reopen it again?

Same. Still happens. Opening Chat as Editor and then closing it again fixes it.
I’m on a Mac, just got a fresh install today.
I believe that what triggered it for me was trying to just send a copied snipped in the chat without having any text written by me.

It’s hard to reproduce consistently, but it hasn’t happened again. A related bug is that copy pasting code into the chat and then pressing “enter” doesn’t do anything. The chat just get emptied and it looks like there’s some whitespace added to the chat history, but it doesn’t get processed
just experienced this: not being able to type, copy, paste, anything in the right panel. closing and reopening cursor did not solve it. restarting my computer did not solve it. the only thing that worked was right-clicking the Chat button and toggling the “move to” settings a couple times
Same happened to me today. Can’t send any message today after upgrading the cursor
This is still a problem for me daily and it might be the thing that makes me
drop cursor. That with the spastic autocomplete that sometimes generates nonsense and fights me with normal autocomplete.
