Cant Update Cursor to 0.50 release

I’m running Cursor IDE on Windows 11 and encountered a bug during the v0.50 update.

When the app tries to update, it fails with the following errors:

1. Failed to install Cursor update
   2.Message:* “Updates may fail due to anti-virus software and/or runaway processes…”
2. Unable to execute file
   4.Path:* C:\Program Files\cursor\Cursor.exe
   5.Error:* CreateProcess failed; code 2. The system cannot find the file specified.

i tried to disable my win11 firewall but still no soultion for it

Try removing and reinstalling, rather than updating.
