Change Account in Cursor App

Hello.
I installed Cursor using my corporate email (free-trial account).
Now I want to pay the PRO plan, but I want to do it using my personal email.
How do I change the email in Cursor App (macOS) ?

  1. Open Cursor App
  2. On MenuBar click Cursor > Settings > Cursor Settings
  3. In Cursor Setting General you can manage account or logout

I think this is what you want to achieve

I have the similar problem
I installed cursor using my corporate account, with a paid plan.
now i’m leaving my work place, so i created a personal cursor account (pro plan)
i want to switch cursor to work on my personal account, but when i open the cursor settings, it shows that i’m still registered on the corporate account.
I’m working on the same project as before, but i want to switch the account from corporate to personal

I just ran into the same issue. But it looks like the log out button is at the bottom of the Cursor > Settings > General tab. I couldn’t find it initially because I thought it would be in the manage account button but that just brings you to the website.

It would be great if we could have the option to switch between multiple accounts (Corpo, Personal etc..), the same way many tools do (MS Teams, Slack etc..).

  1. Open Cursor.
  2. In the menu bar, click on File.
  3. Select Preferences.
  4. Go to the General section.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom.
  6. You’ll see the Logout option there.
