Nope. Someone else reported an issue about Ask not seeing the file content, but it’s not the same as my issue. Could be related though.
Provide a clear description of the bug
In the AI pane, when I chat using the “Ask” mode, the response indicates that the LLM is not following the “User Rules” I’ve set in Cursor Settings, regardless of the AI model used. Agent mode and Edit mode don’t have this issue.
Explain how to reproduce the bug (if known)
On the AI pane, select Ask, select any model, ask anything mentioned in User Rules to see that it is not seeing User Rules.
For me, I instructed in User Rules to let AI always answer like a cute maid, which works perfectly when not using Ask, but the tone I got when I use Ask is still a plain LLM tone.

Nope, Agent and Edit don’t have this issue, but I’d really love to see it fixed!
