Chat graphs are not rendered properly

I remember they rendered properly before, not sure why they are broken now:

This either means the chat doesn’t know what format or file extension this is meant to be, or the syntax highlighting extension for this is not working (my guess is this is from an extension, and not built in?)

Does the highlighting work find if you open a graph like this in a file, not in the chat?

IIRC this was built in.

This is mermaid notation, in GitHub they can be included in markdown.

I was asking the chat to think through a flow so it responded with that code of a Mermaid diagram, which I expected to be rendered properly (and not to see its code).

Not sure if it’s an extension on my local cursor that is causing issues, or a bug in Cursor, or this wasn’t a feature and I’m having a brain ■■■■.

Either way it’d be nice to be able to display mermaid graphs like this (Claude)
