Render mermaid markdown in chat

I often use cursor chat to ask what an old script does. I find my self often asking for a mermaid diagram of the data and control flow and then copying into a blank markdown file to preview it. Would be nice if this could just be in the chat window!

I agree, especially now vscode addon Cline supported it , thought he markdown table syntax is not yet supported.

+1000. Models routinely generate mermaid diagrams in their responses and I currently have to copy-paste to see what they’re saying.

I appreciate all the screenshots–but that’s more complicated than the simple copypaste dance I do now, and it still doesn’t solve the core issue:

The diagrams should be rendered in-context in the chat window.
