Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug
The chat input box in Cursor IDE freezes after several interactions when using Gemini 2.5 Pro. After sending a few prompts, the input field stops responding and cannot accept new text. Editing a previous prompt temporarily restores input, but the issue recurs after a few more interactions.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Cursor IDE on Windows 11 (build 26100), version 1.5.9 (user setup).

Open any project and bring up the chat panel.

Start a conversation with Gemini 2.5 Pro.

Send around 5–10 prompts/messages.

Try typing a new message in the chat input box.

Observed: The input box becomes unresponsive / frozen.

Workaround: Clicking and editing a previous prompt restores typing temporarily.

Expected Behavior
The chat input box should remain responsive and allow continuous typing, regardless of how many prompts are sent.

Hey, thanks for the report. Does this also happen in other projects or in a blank Cursor window?

I had the same on Windows. Upgrade to latest SQLite helped.
