When I’m composing a message in the chat, I often want to edit the message before sending. This involves selecting a chunk of text and deleting it all at once, instead of a character at a time. But this is not working currently, and so instead only the last character is deleted instead of the whole selected chunk.

Could you provide a bit more detail on what is happening?
Are you unable to delete a whole selection of text in the chat before submitting your prompt? I’ve check and cannot reproduce this.

I think he means that when undoing with Cmd + Z, it deletes letter by letter instead of the whole word. There’s no solution for this yet.

Just to qualify, I haven’t done anything with Cmd + Z, I’m just selecting multiple words at a time with my mouse in the chat and then I press delete. I would expect that would delete all the highlighted words, but instead it only deletes one character. What does work to delete all the highlighted text is pressing Option + delete.
