Chat keep loading and not able to use it

I don’t know why, but for the past few days, Cursor has not been working properly for me. It’s neither giving me good results on code nor functioning as expected. However, when I use my Claude account, it provides better results on the same queries. Cursor, on the other hand, is unable to solve the same issues. I don’t know what happened, but it’s quite frustrating.

Also, the chat keeps loading for no reason, and I’m unable to work. I am attaching screenshots:

Apart from this, when I try to access past chats, it shows this error:

I just subscribed a few days ago and was really liking it - TBH, I think it is one of the best AI tool out there, but it has been acting weird recently.

I think this issue is related to a large amount of chat history in your project. You can try renaming your project and opening it. If that helps, then the cause is clear. If your chat history is important to you, you can try exporting it using this extension:
